Bukom Fans were hugely impressed as the European Union Ambassador to Ghana put up an impressive show to draw with boxing legend Azumah Nelson at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Azumah Nelson and Irchad Razaaly faced off on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Bukom Boxing Arena in an exhibition fight to celebrate EU month and also to help develop the sports.
Many before the bout had anticipated a complete technical knockout from Azumah Nelson but Irchad Razaaly defied the odds to stay on his ground for the entire three rounds of the bout.
Irchad Razaaly according to many at the arena should have been declared the winner for putting up an impressive performance but the judges opted for a draw.
The fight was also used to create awareness for the need to invest in boxing as its potential is enormous.
