Please did you know that bathing daily is not necessary?

For your information bathing every day according to experts could increase your risk of infections.

Bathing or showering excessively can reduce skin hydration, leaving it dry and cracked.

Also cracked skin may allow infection-causing germs to enter the body of an individual.

What bathing does is that, it removes odour rather than reducing people’s risk of illness.

Frequent washing of the body strips the skin off good bacteria that support immune systems.

Because of the foregoing, experts insist that showering just once or twice a week is sufficient for most, but for individuals this is dictated by factors such skin type, environment etc.

However, you should feel free to shower daily if your skin feels healthy and hydrated.
