Bawku Conflict: Death toll rises to 35

Two persons have been reported dead following an attack by unidentified men at two different locations in Bawku.

According to reports, one of the deceased, identified as Moro Aziz was killed at Gozesi, a suburb of Bawku whiles walking towards the Bawku cemetery.

However, the motive behind the killings remains unclear.

The other person known as kasim was also killed at Daduri when he attempted to relocate to a different place due to the tension.

Eyewitness account indicates that kasim was targeted by the attackers in his attempt to move from the community.

This brings the death toll in Bawku to 35 since the conflict begun.
