The Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah has announced that the government is committed to restoring peace in Bawku.
The Minister in a statement during a meeting with Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II mentioned that, President John Mahama is committed to ensure peace, thereby implementing a two-track approach that integrates both security measures and traditional mediation efforts.
“As promised earlier this week, we remain committed to restoring sustainable peace in Bawku”.
