Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flag bearer of the New Partriotic Party has promised to construct a mini harbour and sea defense for Sege should he become President.
According to him, the sea defense system will help address the impact of tidal waves affecting the people of Sege and its environs for so many years. The fishing harbour will forster economic growth through the fishing industry.
Addressing Chiefs at Sege as part of his greater Accra Regional tour, Dr. Bawumia stated that since Sege hub, there is the need of boosting their economic infrastructure to enable the people to survive in the fishing industry.
He also said the Mini harbour would be modernized to facilitate friendly trading.
