Matthew Cudjoe impressed the coaches of Bayern Munich during his trails, according to his agent Samuel Anim Addo.
The 16-year old went on trials with the Bavarian giants for a week at the invitation of the club.

Speaking to Happy FM’s Ohene Bampoh Brenya on his experience with the German giants Matthew Cudoe said, “I thank everyone who has supported me and the Asante Kotoko team.

“They should expect more from me because I have learnt a lot of things since I went there. I am going to make the supporters happy”.

His Manager, Samuel Anim Addo said, “It is a great opportunity for the player. He has exhibited a lot of talent and he has projected the name of Ghana.

“He played very well and the coaches were impressed with him. Very soon I know Bayern Munich will bring an offer”.
Anim Addo further said, the player will not be rushed and his development is the main priority.

“For now he is a player of Asante Kotoko, we are developing the player at the moment. A lot of opportunities are available for him but he will make a move at the right time”.

“You check if Bayern Munich has ever invited any young player before. They have done a lot of project on the player and we are lucky we have such a talent in Ghana”, he ended.

Cudjoe has returned from the trip and has joined Asante Kotoko.
