The BBC has offically released its gripping documentary titled “The Cult of TB Joshua,” which exposes a sinister side to the late Nigerian televangelist.

The episode, part of a three-part investigative documentary named “The Cult of TB Joshua,” is now available on the BBC News Africa Eye YouTube channel.

The comprehensive investigation delves into a myriad of allegations, including rape, torture, abuse, and killings of church members purportedly orchestrated by the controversial pastor over a span of two decades.

Drawing on interviews with over 30 former members and workers of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), the documentary exposes a disturbing pattern of misconduct within the religious institution.

The shocking revelations include instances of staged miracles, torture, rituals, killings, and sexual abuse, shedding light on the alleged atrocities committed under the leadership of TB Joshua.

The testimonies collected during the investigation paint a harrowing picture of abuse, harassment, rape, manipulation, and orchestrated miracles within SCOAN.

The BBC News Africa Eye documentary implicates the late TB Joshua in a series of grave offenses, bringing to the forefront the stories of those who claim to have been victims of the alleged abuse.

As the episode gains traction on social media and other platforms, viewers are left grappling with the disturbing revelations brought to light by former members and workers of SCOAN.

The late TB Joshua, known for his influential role in the global religious landscape, passed away in June 2021. The posthumous revelations, however, cast a shadow over his legacy, prompting further scrutiny into the activities of SCOAN during his tenure.

With ‘The Cult of TB Joshua’ now accessible to a global audience, the BBC’s investigative journalism has raised crucial questions about the balance between faith and accountability, urging viewers to confront the darker aspects of charismatic leadership within religious organizations.
