Ghana senior women national team- Black Queens put three past Senegal in an international friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana attacked right from the blast of the referee’s whistle in search of a goal, a consistent knocking earned them a free kick at an advantageous position.

Evenly Badu’s delivery went off the right, Gifty Assifuah on the follow up to grab the lead in just two minutes from kick off.

Six minutes after, the homesters doubled their lead through Grace Asantewaa who scored with a beautiful strike after taking off two markers.

The Teranga Lioness with their first attempt on goal, a beautiful combination fell on the path of Dembele Anta but her effort was too feeble to beat Cynthia Konlan.

Skipper Koka pounced on some faulty passes in midfield but her effort missed the post by miles. That was close.

In the dying embers, Gifty Assifuah sealed her to mark Ghana’s third with a towering header from Adama Alhassan’s cross.

In the second half, Senegal after finishing on a good note, took it from where they left in search of the opener.

Adama Alhassan stole from an opposing player, sent in a cross to Evelyn Badu but her effort was blocked and subsequently gathered.

Princess Owusu was put through by Janet Egyir with a decent long ball but she only struck at the throat of the goalie.

It ended 3-0 after full time.
