Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew scored his first goal of the season for Al Sadd in their 3-1 win over Qatar SC in the QSL.
Qatar SC scored the opening goal of the game in the 39th minute through Soria Sebastian in the first half.
Qatar SC went into halftime leading the tie by a lone goal.
After recess, Andre Ayew scored a stunning goal to get the equalizer for Al Sadd who had gone down for the most part of the game.
The former Swansea City attacker controlled the ball and went past two defenders to hit a strike to the far right of the post which the keeper was unable to push out.
Guilherme increased the lead for Al Sadd in the 78th minute with his goal as the defending champions dominated the game.
Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah sealed the win for Al Sadd to go top of the table with six points.
