Ghana international Alexander Djiku has completed a transfer to Russian giants Spartak Moscow after parting ways with Turkish side Fenerbahçe.
The 31-year-old centre-back signed a deal that runs until June 2027, with the move reportedly valued at €2.5 million plus potential add-ons. Spartak confirmed his arrival through their official social media channels.
Djiku, fresh from scoring the decisive goal in Ghana’s 1-0 win over Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8, was previously on the radar of French Ligue 1 clubs Lille, Nice, and Toulouse.
He joined Fenerbahçe in 2023 following a successful stint with Strasbourg, where he made 75 appearances and scored four goals.
