Former Ghana international Fatau Dauda, says the Black Stars technical team should maintain the goalkeepers invited during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for the World Cup playoff against Nigeria later this month.
According to him, the goalkeeping department is very important and those to have represented the country during the AFCON should not be changed for the World Cup playoff against Nigeria.
He explained that Jojo Wollacot who was the first choice goalkeeper did not commit any errors and must be maintained in post for the crucial encounter against Nigeria.

Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports with Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Happy 98.9FM, on the goalkeeping selection for the team, he said,
“When it comes to the goalkeeping department. It is very important and crucial. When we went to the AFCON things didn’t go l but me from a technical point of view, I will never blame the goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot for the goals he conceded at the AFCON”.
“Maybe there is a problem with his communication with his defenders. In fact that department we don’t do a lot of changes, so let’s maintain them. Unless Richard Ofori is still fit”.
Black Stars interim coach Otto Addo is expected to name his squad for the game in the coming days.
