Blakk Rasta narrates why he still has issues with Shatta Wale

Ghanaian radio presenter and reggae musician, Abubakar Ahmed, popularly known as Blakk Rasta, has explained from scratch, the reason why he is still not on very good terms with rapper Shatta Wale.

He revealed to host, Foster Romanus on eTV Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity Show that Shatta Wale, back when he was Bandana, came out with a particular song that he personally liked so he took it up and played it on air for him because he liked the song.

According to him, Shatta Wale, then Bandana, had about four more songs that he had recorded in his own small studio using other people’s rhythms because he could not afford professional studio time and he gave them to Blakk to play together with the one he was already playing.

He confessed that he did not really pay attention to the other songs and Bandana angrily came to him complaining that he does not play his songs, thus stopped him from playing all of his (Bandana’s) songs, even the one that he liked.

Blakk Rasta however commented that he knows even though Bandana did not appreciate that kind gesture he did for him, the whole Ghana can attest to the fact that he was the one who played that song for Ghanaians to know that there was such a song by some artiste who was once popular.

He concluded that he is not enemies with Shatta and he knows that one day, they will sit down to talk and straighten out their issues.
