Boxer Patrick Allotey granted bail

Ghanaian boxer, Patrick Allotey who assaulted a fan on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko has been asked to report to the Ministries Police Station in Accra.

Happy Sports understands that Michael Siaw, the fan assaulted in the incident lodged a complaint at the Ministries Police Station in Accra on Tuesday.

The Police have been trying to reach Patrick Allotey as investigations is currently underway.

In an interview with the Ministries’ Police Commander, Superintendent Florence Owusu on Wamputu Sports on Happy FM , she confirmed that Michael Siaw had lodged a complaint and investigations has commenced in to the matter.
“Yes we have had a complaint from Michael Siaw.

“We have begun investigations into the matter and we have tried to invite Patrick Allotey to come over for some questions but we haven’t gotten in touch with him”.

“We went to his house today and we have been trying to reach him but to no avail. So we left a message behind for him to report to the station.

“If he doesn’t come to the Police Station we will keep searching for him, so we will urge the public to disclose his location to us, she added.

Patrick Allotey is set to face the Ghana Boxing Authority on 5 February, 2020 to answer questions on why his license shouldn’t be revoked after this incident
