The Board of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been dissolved, HappySports can exclusively report.
This follows the expiration of the three-year mandate which is due to expire in August this year chaired by Dr. Kwame Kyei.
The dissolution comes on the heels of a meeting held this afternoon between the Board Chairman Dr. Kyei and other members of the Board.
The Board which was inaugurated on 9th June 2020 by the Owner and Life Patron of the club, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu consisted of a 12-member board of directors.
The board comprised of Dr Kwame Kyei, as Board Chairman; Mr Jude Arthur- Vice Chairman, Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi, Kwasi Osei Ofori, Kwamena Mensah, Miss Evelyn Nsiah Asare, Mr Kofi Amoah Abban, Mr Martin Osei Kwaku Brobbey, Mr James Osei Brown, Mr Kofi Amo ah Abban, MD of Rickworld Oil Group, Mr Martin Osei Kwaku Brobbey, CEO of Lexta Ghana Limited, Mr James Osei Brown, CEO Joshob Construction Company, Nana Ankobeahene of Asanteman – Baffour Kwame Kusi, Alhaji Lamin and Joseph Yaw Adu.
The management members of the club, led by Nana Yaw Amponsah on the other hand are expected to continue with their work as the CEO’s mandate comes to an end after three years in charge of the Porcupine Warriors.
Meanwhile,the club, however, is yet to officially announce the development.
