President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has with immediate effect suspended the Chief Executive Officer of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Adjenim Boateng Adjei.
The suspension follows the airing of an investigative expose undertaken by freelance journalist Manasseh Azuri Awuni.
A statement signed by Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, says the decision to suspend the PPA boss “follows the broadcast of allegations made against him in an investigative documentary conducted by Manasseh Azuri Awuni titled ‘contracts for sale’.”
