Former signee of Rufftown Records, Ms Forson has said that Rufftown boss, Bullet did not ask her to leave her husband.

Speaking in a phone interview with Doctar Cann on Happy FM’s ShowbizXtra she said:
“Bullet never asked me to leave my marriage. He only made me understand being married will be a challenge to me as a female artiste.”

According to her, her former boss only told her a married woman in the industry will not excel as her career could cause friction in her marriage.

She disclosed that she only left her husband because Bullet’s advice made sense. She did not want her marriage to be a stumbling block in her career.

“Music is what I wanted to do and I didn’t want any challenge in my career. I advised myself because I want to excel in the industry. I didn’t want to regret later on in life for letting my marriage bring down my career”, she said.

Earlier last week, news articles circulating implied that Ms Forson was asked to divorce her husband by her former manager, Bullet and this caused some tension between them.
