The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has strongly condemned the unacceptable conduct displayed by some players and officials during the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 final between hosts Morocco and Senegal in Rabat.
In a statement issued after the match, CAF reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on inappropriate behaviour, particularly actions directed at match officials or organisers. The continental body stressed that such conduct has no place in African football.
CAF also confirmed that it is reviewing all available footage from the incident and will refer the matter to the appropriate disciplinary bodies. Sanctions will be imposed on any individuals found culpable following the investigations.
