CAF Confed Cup play-offs: Hearts to depart to Algeria today

Hearts of Oak will embark on its journey to Algeria on Wednesday, December 1 2021, ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup second leg game against JS Saoura.

The game comes off on Sunday, December 3, 2021 and the Phobians are expected to arrive in Algiers on Friday.

Hearts of Oak won the first leg encounter 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium kind courtesy goals from Salifu Ibrabim and Agyenim Boateng.

Salifu Ibrahim has been declared fit to join the team for the trip to Algeria after initial reports indicated he could miss the game.

The team will travel with a 23-man squad for the second-leg encounter to be played on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak will be hoping to make the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage with a positive result in the second leg.
