The Chamber of Cement Manufacturers has reiterated its opposition to unfair trade practices in the industry, stressing the need for manufacturers to maintain high quality standards.
Bishop Dr. George Dawson-Amoah, CEO of the Chamber, emphasized the industry’s commitment to quality and fairness, saying, “We will not tolerate any practices that undermine the integrity of our industry or compromise the interests of our stakeholders.”
The cement industry plays a vital role in Ghana’s construction sector, and the Chamber’s stance aims to promote a level playing field. Unfair trade practices can undermine the industry’s growth and compromise quality, affecting not just manufacturers but also consumers and the broader economy.
Dr. Dawson-Amoah urged manufacturers to prioritize quality and adhere to industry standards, saying, “We must ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.”
