Chaskele Returns to Happy 98.9FM as Host of Wamputu Sports

Ghanaian sports broadcaster, Jeffries Kwabena Sintim-Koree, popularly known as Chaskele, has returned to Happy 98.9FM as host of the Wamputu Sports show.

The show airs weekdays from 5pm to 6pm and features exciting segments like Sports Trends, Sports News, Analysis and Local Titbits.

Chaskele is a celebrated sports presenter, commentator, and voice over artist. He worked at Happy FM in his formative and early years as a young sports broadcaster. Additionally, he has worked with other media brands such as Meridian FM, KissFM, Zylofon Tv and Radio, and StarTimes.

Commenting on his decision to join Happy 98.9FM, Chaskele said: “Happy 98.9FM has always been my home. The station played a crucial role in my formative years and development as a top-notch media talent. It’s good to be back home to contribute to the continuous success of this great brand. I hope to become a valuable member of the sports team and bring you exciting shows and activations.”

The Director of Broadcasting at Happy 98.9FM, Timothy Kwakye Karikari, said that adding Chaskele to the sports team will give listeners the best in sports. He encouraged listeners to tune in to Happy 98.9FM everyday for the best in current affairs, sports, entertainment, social shows and activations developed with audience in mind.”
