Level 400 student of Gambaga College of Education shot dead by unknown assailants

Three people have been confirmed dead in the Agona West Municipality of the Central Region following a cholera outbreak in the Region.

Out of the 200 suspected cases reported in the Municipality, 11 were confirmed by the Swedru Municipal Government Hospital.

The Agona West Municipal Coordinating Director, Simon Asare confirmed this during a stakeholders meeting in Swedru.

According to him, the deceased were among the 11 confirmed cases.

There are other suspected cases from Agona Nyakrom with Agona Nkum as the epicenter.

He however indicated that the assembly would work with health officials to put measures in place and eliminate the cholera from the Municipality.
