Chosen Home Foundation Orphanage wins 2024 Functional Fitness Extravaganza Cup

The children at the Chosen Home Foundation Orphanage capped off their Easter Celebrations after being crowned champions of 2024 Functional Fitness Extravaganza Cup.

The event that was held at the Zulka Astroturf Park in Dansoman on Sunday, March 31, 2024, saw four orphanage homes compete for a trophy as part of Functional Sports League Ghana’s efforts to put smile on the faces of the children.

Amongst the competing teams in the tournament were Chosen Home Foundation, Enough Grace, Great James and Shalom of Zion from Darkuman, Awoshie, Chorkor and and Madina respectively.

The participants engaged in a dynamic showcase of athleticism, featuring Step-craft, Aerobathon, and a fiercely contested functional fitness tournament with Chosen Home Foundation Orphanage emerging as the winner.

Great James Academy came second with Shalom of Zion and Enough Grace finishing third and fourth respectively.

Charles Owusu Ansah, the president of Functional Sports League Ghana urged the corporate world to come and assist them in projecting the sport which will be considered at thr Olympic Games in the coming years and also help the Orphanages carry out their duties.
