The five-member committee set up by the Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo to investigate alleged act of corruption involving Electoral Commission Chair Charlotte Osei and her two Deputies, Amadu Sulley in charge of Operations and Georgina Amankwa in charge of Corporate Services at the EC.
The committee will be meeting the three EC bosses today, Monday December 11 this afternoon.
Some staff of the EC petitioned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to remove Mrs Osei from office over allegations of fraud and financial malfeasance as well as abuse of office.
Mrs. Osei also filed a counter-allegation of corruption against his deputies insisting that she has done nothing wrong and only being hounded out because she is fighting internal graft.
The president, in accordance with the Constitution, forwarded a petition filed by a citizen to the Chief Justice to look into the matter.
