The Ghana Football Association Congress has approved the recommendations made by the Compensation Committee on the bonus and salary structure for the President, Vice President and the Executive Council members.
The Congress held at the Ghanaman Soccer Center for Excellence, Prampram, on Tuesday 1 September approved the recommendations despite calls for it to be reduced.
President Kurt Okraku will receive a monthly allowance of GHc 12,000 per the recommendation made by the Compensation Committee which has now being approved.
The Vice-president Mark Addo will also receive GHc 7000 as monthly allowance.
The Executive Council members will also take home Ghc 4000 as their share of the allowance.
Earlier on at the Congress, Owner and bankroller for King Faisal Football Club Alhaji Karim Grunsah had proposed that the GFA president should be paid Ghc 1000 and the allowance to the Executive Council be scrapped.
