President Nana Addo has announced that Ghana will on Sunday 22nd March 2020 shut all its boarders to minimize the number on imported coronavirus pandemic cases into the country.

The President in his third address to the nation on the coronavirus pandemic, said all the country’s borders- land, air and sea- will be closed at midnight on Sunday.

“The closure will, however, not apply to goods,” he added.

Ghana has confirmed 19 cases that tested positive of the disease also known as COVID-19 with one death recorded in Kumasi, the country’s second-biggest city.
