Throngs of couples have mobbed the premises of Happy 98.9 FM to pick up forms for the 2021 edition of the station’s trademark and most sought after social event, the Happy FM Mass Wedding.

The Happy FM Mass Wedding is a fully funded community investment initiative that seeks to join would-be couples and bless the marriages of others. Happy 98.9 FM through the Mass Wedding stands in the gap as the family for the wedding and bears the cost involved in organizing a chic wedding for the couples.

To make the wedding more memorable, Happy 98.9 FM holds the wedding ceremony on the 14th day of February (the month of love) annually and makes all the necessary provisions for the wedding.

Programmes Manager for Happy 98.9 FM, Emmanuel Akrumah urging would-be couples to register for the Mass Medding said, “All the couple need to do is show up. We will make all the necessary arrangements for them. We will give you a haircut, provide you with your wedding gown and suit and ultimately treat your family and friends to an amazing buffet”.

Mr. Akrumah revealing the kick to the entire ceremony added, the best couple for the event will also be treated to an all-expense-paid trip to any vacation spot of their choice in Ghana.

He advised would-be couples to visit the front desks of any Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Corporation office (Happy FM, e .TV Ghana at Asylum Down or YFM, Accra Mall) to pick up their forms for only Gh₵500 cedis as a sign of commitment.
