President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated the covid-19 pandemic has pushed the NPP-Government to address outstanding issues bothering the health sector.
According to him, the government recruited more nurses to support the fight against the disease in the country.
He said the government has been able to resolve the country’s infrastructural deficits, saying that it has built hospitals, expanded some community hospitals and is still investing in the next generation of Ghanaian doctors.
President Akufo-Addo also stated that his government has been able to stabilise the Ghanaian Economy despite inheriting it in a poor state from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
