Former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Joseph Yamin has said the Communication Director of the Normalization Committee (NC) needs to be caned because of his previous criticism of Ghana football.
After the Black Stars poor performance in Egypt, the former deputy minister has been on the case of the NC spokesperson.
According to the former minister, Dan Kwaku Yeboah was against the previous government for sending supporters to support national teams so why should current government send supporters to Egypt. “Dan has kept quiet because he now speaks for them.”
Speaking to Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Joseph Yamin said, “Dan Kwaku Yeboah needs to be caned”.
“Dan Kweku Yeboah is an accomplice in a crime that is why he is quiet all of sudden; because the Dan that we know who was against previous government sponsoring supporters to the tournament is mute because he is benefitting from it”.
“Dan Kweku Yeboah can’t tell me he is not aware of how much they spent in Egypt. Dan should be caned for saying that we shouldn’t discuss the budget before a tournament because it will affect the performance of the team”, he said.
