The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Upper West Denkyira in the Central Region, Isaac Nsiah, has pledged to prioritize the reconstruction of the badly deteriorated Dunkwa-Ayenfuri road as his first major project in the district.

Recognizing the critical role of the highway in linking the Central, Western North, and Western regions, Nsiah assured residents that his administration would swiftly address the road’s poor condition.

He affirmed that since the previous contractor is no longer working on the project, his office has reported the situation to authorities, and a new contractor will be assigned soon.

Mr. Nsiah also expressed confidence in his government’s commitment to infrastructure development, emphasizing that former President John Dramani Mahama prioritizes road construction.

He urged road users and residents to remain hopeful, assuring them that work will commence shortly to enhance their daily commute.
