The captain of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew has made a cash donation to his former coach, Sellas Tetteh.
Andre Ayew has come to the aid of the former Black Satellites coach who has been in the news soliciting for support due to his ailing health.
Tetteh had reported that he is yet to receive the package promised by the government after winning the FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009.
Ayew’s representatives, his mother Maha Ayew and publicist Fiifi Tackie. were at the residence of Sellas Tetteh to make the cash donation to him.
Ayew, who was captain of the team that won the tournament in North Africa, quickly reacted to by attending to the needs of the veteran coach.
Sellas Tetteh’s last coaching role was with Liberty Professionals in 2021 where he served as their Technical Director.
