After an intensive 8 week bible battle, Godwin Doe of the Church of Pentecost beat all odds to emerge winner of the 2021 edition of the Happy Bible Quiz.
Godwin Doe faced intense competition from Charles Mills-Robertson, Regina Asare of the Victory Prayer House Ministry and Justice Akoto of Jesus Full Grace Vineyard International Church, but managed to dominate his compatriots in the nerve-racking contest.
Godwin who made the Church of Pentecost proud by emerging victorious in the Happy Bible Quiz, walked home with a brand new television set and earned for himself GHC₵20,000 worth of radio airtime to execute the mandate of the Great Commission.
Justice Akoto of Jesus Full Grace Vineyard International Church managed to grasp the 2nd place title and walked away with a refrigerator and GHC₵10,000 worth of airtime, whilst 3rd place Charles Mills-Robertson won for himself a microwave oven and GHC₵5,000 worth of airtime.
Regina Asare of the Victory Prayer House Ministry also won for herself a blender. Aside from these assortment of gift items, participants received certificates and Christian literature from the Bible Society of Ghana.
Coordinator of the ‘Happy Bible Quiz’, Isaac Kpogeh indicated that the journey to the finals had been an impressive one with contestants giving one another a run for their money. “This year’s Happy Bible Quiz has been an interesting one with all participants proving thorough knowledge of the bible. I am glad we were able to organize this quiz and pray a lot more people partake in next year’s edition to not only win prices but to enlighten themselves.”
