Dr Bawumia donates GH 100,000 to support Yaw Sarpong

Vice president and flag bearer of New Patriot Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has donated Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 100,000) to veteran gospel musician Yaw Sarpong.

During Dr Bawumia’ campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, he and his entourage seized the opportunity to visit the ailing musician who has been unwell for sometime.

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as chairman wontumi said he was recently informed by Nicholas Omane Acheampong about Yaw Sarpong’s illness and he also informed Dr Bawumia upon his arrival in Kumasi.

Dr Bawumia seized the opportunity to pay a surprise visit to the veteran gospel musician and supported him with GHC 100,000.
