Dreams FC head coach Abdul Karim Zito has insisted that Hearts of Oak have improved compared to their performance during the GHALCA G-8 competition.
Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC locked horns at the Dawu Park, as they continued with preparations ahead of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The game ended one all, after striker Eric Gawu leveled for the Dawu based club, following Samudeen Ibrahim’s opener in the 15th minute.
In the wake of the game, Coach Zito who led the Still Believe lads to inflict a 2-1 defeat on the Phobians in the GHALCA G-8 finals two months ago was impressed by the performance of their opponents, which he believed was better than their previous meeting in the curtain raiser competition.
“It was a good game, we have done very well, Hearts is a changed team compared to the G8 team we played,”Zito told the press.
“So far so good, it was a good test for the boys.”
He added, “I was speaking to their Coach and he told me they are very fit for the game on the touchline, he said we will see a different Hearts and tactically we were countering each other with our style of play,” he said.
“So far so good, Hearts is in top form but before the G8 and it not good,” he concluded.
The Phobians had earlier played a pulsating 1-1 draw with Amrahia-based second-tier side Vision FC on Saturday.
