The new registration plates of vehicles will bear a “25” suffix to prove the year of registration in accordance with Road Traffic Regulations, 2012 (L.I 2180).

The statement also indicated that the registration is in two stages thus owners of vehicles would have to submit their vehicles to DVLA offices together with customs entry documents to be inspected and validated at authorized Vehicle Testing stations this December as first stage.

On January 2, 2024, owners of vehicles can finish the process by making payments, capturing of biometric information and collecting registration documents in the second stage.
