Madam Dzifa Abla Gomashie, a former Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, has triumphed over four other aspirants namely; Mr. Foga Nukunu, Mr. Joseph Kwasi Nyavi, Mr. Nicholas Worclachie Ezo, and Mrs. Caroline Kudah-Parker, to clinch the mandate of delegates in the National Democratic Congress’ Parliamentary primaries in the Ketu- South constituency of the Volta Region.
The known children’s advocate and celebrated arts icon polled 585 votes while Fogaa Nukunu followed closely with 555 votes, Nicholas Worklasti 302 votes with Joseph Nyavi placing 294 votes Carolyn Kudah-Pakar came in last with 109 votes.
Meanwhile, the incumbent and former Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey decided not to contest the seat again.
