The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail in the sum of GH¢100,000 to Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, with two sureties, one of whom must provide justification with a landed property or a vehicle.
The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for further hearing, his lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo, has confirmed.
Eshun, a 33-year-old private security guard, was earlier remanded into police custody on January 2, 2026, and ordered by the court to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at a government health facility ahead of his next appearance.
The directive was issued when he appeared before Her Honour Angela Attachie, who had initially scheduled the matter for January 15, 2026.
According to prosecutors, between August and December 2025, Eshun published several videos on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube under the handle @Ebonoah, in which he claimed the world would be destroyed by a flood on December 25, 2025.
The prosecution further alleges that he told his followers he was constructing an ark to save people from the anticipated catastrophe.
