The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has confirmed the release of funds for the payment of allowances to temporary staff, following approval from the Ministry of Finance.

The announcement comes as a relief to workers who have been awaiting their payments.

In an official statement signed by Mrs. Jean Mensa, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, the EC assured temporary staff that payments will be processed swiftly, with funds expected to reach recipients on or before Friday, June 20, 2025.

“The Commission is working round the clock to ensure that payments are made promptly”.

The EC also expressed appreciation for the patience and cooperation of temporary workers, recognizing their essential role in supporting the Commission’s operations.
