Dumsor crisis looms: IES urges swift action from Mahama administration

The Electricity Company of Ghana(ECG) has indicated that heavy rains which hit the Greater Accra Region earlier today, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 has disrupted power distribution within the region.

In a statement released by the Electricity Company of Ghana, it indicated that efforts are being made by engineers to resolve the situation. “Customers should please note that our engineers are working assiduously to restore power supply to affected customers.”

All customers within the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, have hereby been notified by the ECG to report persistent power outages to the nearest ECG office, via ECG social media handles or the ECG hotline, 0302611611.

ECG indicated that the disruption in power due to this natural occurrence is deeply regretted.
