An Educationist Haruna Tetteh Mensah has called on Ghanaians to see through what he describes as NPP propaganda regarding the review of the Free SHS policy.
Speaking at a press conference, Mr. Mensah emphasized that President John Dramani Mahama has no intention of collapsing the Free SHS program but aims to review and improve it.
He highlighted that many students lack access to proper desks and classrooms due to what he considers the poor implementation of the Free SHS policy by the NPP government.
He expressed confidence that the committee formed by President Mahama to review Ghana’s education system will bring about positive change.
He also criticized the previous committee formed by former President John Agyekum Kufuor to change SSS to SHS and JSS to JHS did not have any positive impact on the education.
The Educationist called on Ghanaians to have faith in President Mahama’s efforts to improve education for the benefit of Ghana.
