Efua Ghartey is new GBA President

Efua Ghartey, has been elected as the Ghana Bar Association President at the Association’s annual conference held in Kumasi, after two attempts.

Efua Gartey garnered a total of 1,208 while her opponent Kwadzo Dzakpasu secured a total of 1,060 votes.

She becomes the first female to be elected as the Ghana Bar Association president (GBA).

Efua is a seasoned lawyer of over 30 years.
