The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has reiterated that the party will not sign the peace pact until perpetrators of the 2020 election violence face the full rigorous of the law.

According to him, if the government does not arrest the perpetrators who caused the demise of eight innocent people at Techiman in the Bono Region as well one teacher who lost his life in banda during the 2020 the elections, the peace council should forget about engaging them to sign any peace pact.

Addressing Chiefs at Bui, Bongase and Banda Ahenkro in the Banda constituency, Johnson Asiedu Nketia said failure by the ruling Government to arrest those perpetrators to the law makes them believe that this government cannot be trusted.

He urged the NPP Government to take swift action and cause the arrest of those people.

” If the NPP Government sits aloof and do nothing about this issue, the next NDC administration will arrest and prosecute those perpetrators for the law to take it course”.
