Former Member of Parliament for Manso Nkwanta, Dr. Joseph Albert Quarm, has commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, asserting that no corruption allegations can be made against him.

Dr. Quarm highlighted Bawumia’s significant contributions as Vice President, noting his numerous initiatives that have greatly benefited the nation. According to him, Bawumia’s legacy is marked by his groundbreaking digitalization agenda, which continues to attract widespread praise.

He pointed to the transformation of National Health Insurance registration and renewal as a key achievement. Dr. Quarm explained that, in the past, people had to visit National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) district offices and endure long queues to renew their health insurance. However, thanks to Bawumia’s digitalization efforts, individuals can now conveniently register or renew their insurance online from the comfort of their homes.

He emphasized that as the world transitions to a digitized economy, Ghana needs a leader like Dr. Bawumia, whose vision and expertise in digitalization can drive the country’s transformation.
