The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that it expects to have a full set of parliamentary results by 8 pm on December 7, attributing this to enhancements in its collation system.

According to the party’s Deputy General Secretary, Haruna Mohammed, the NPP also plans to complete the collation of presidential results more quickly than in previous elections.

“We have always improved our collation system and we have always added features and removed some as well and we have done a test run which has given us a shorter time compared to the last elections and I can assure you that we have gotten enough improvement in our system of collations”, he said

He stated that the party is fully prepared for the polls, noting that a test run has been conducted to ensure smooth operations on election day.

“We also need to make sure that our agents and other human resources that we need are set. For us as a party, we have put all these things together. We have done a test run of several other systems that we intend to use in this particular election. We also need peaceful coexistence among political parties”, he added.
