Paul Anomah Kordieh, e.TV Ghana’s presenter is to receive the ‘Man of Courage’ honorary award from EMY Africa.

Paul over the years has stood tall among his peers because of his exemplary pursuit in broadcast journalism, despite being visually impaired which would have ordinarily been a barrier to realizing his passion for broadcasting.

According to Paul, who is also the Executive Director for National Resource Centre for Children with Disability, (NRCCD) he is grateful to EMY Africa for recognising his contribution to the media as an industry.
‘’ I am elated that my work over the years have been recognised, I am grateful to EMY Africa but I also know that to whom much is given much is expected. I always assumed for being in the industry for this long nobody is watching but now I know someone is watching and that has gingered me to do my best’’ he promised.
He also encouraged persons living with disabilities to have faith in themselves and follow their dreams because reaching greater heights is within reach of everyone no matter the challenges.
‘’God created us all for a purpose and I believe we can achieve so much if given the opportunity and what we need to succeed in all our endeavours’’ he stated.
He advised organisations to give people living with disabilities a chance to flourish.
‘’Finally I want to appeal to organisations to give people living with disabilities a chance. Look at what Global Media Alliance especially e.TV Ghana did for me. Let me be that beacon that proves that persons living with disability can be everything they want to be and more’’ he said.

He also said he is grateful to EMY Africa for counting him worthy to receive 2019 ‘Man of Courage’ award.

EMY awards which is in its fourth year, is a prestigious platform where men are celebrated on and around Father’s Day. EMY Africa honours great achievements and the hard work of individuals who have kindled hope and progression in society.

According to EMY Africa, Paul is receiving this honorary award ‘Man of Courage’ for being an inspiration on the African continent.

Paul has been in the broadcasting industry for over a decade and has won several awards. Currently he is the host of ‘Live Chat with Paul’ which is a show designed to encourage and uplift the young adults in relation to their careers, religion and social life.

EMY is the acronym for Exclusive Men of the year.
