Renowned sports broadcaster and seasoned football administrator, Dickson Kyere-Duah, affectionately known as Kwabena Kyere Stugard, has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the coveted position of Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairman.

In an exclusive interview on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports, Stugard elaborated his decision and highlighted his unparalleled wealth of experience and steadfast vision for the region’s football development.

Stugard, whose dedication to sports development has spanned over two decades, stated, “Every experienced person in the sports fraternity for the past 24 years knows I’m very experienced in the game. In 2005, I was appointed the first communications officer for Berekum Arsenal. I was the CEO of BA United FC, also a media committee member of the Ghana Football Association. All this wealth of experience clearly shows I’m well enriched in the sports. I have the practical experience and vision to drive the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association forward.”

“I don’t care who I would be contesting, I am ready and looking forward to this challenge. I have received the blessing of the incumbent to contest him, so I’m looking forward to the elections,”he confidently stated.

Happy Sports can exclusively reveal that Kwabena Kyere Stugard’s formal entry into the Brong Ahafo RFA chairmanship race was marked by his visit to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Secretariat on Monday, August 7, 2023, where he picked up his nomination forms.

Stugard, widely known for his in-depth knowledge of football administration and his instrumental role in the day-to-day management of B.A United, has garnered immense respect and admiration in the football parlance.

In a direct challenge to other contestants, Stugard stated that he is poised to bring his extensive experience and visionary leadership to the forefront of the Brong Ahafo Regional FA.
