Fairriver International Association for Development supports Lineenbaal Women

Women empowering is an agenda of the whole Nation. As a result, FAIRRIVER Interventional Association and women Development has Launched the LINEENBAAL WOMEN ASSOCIATION.

The association is aimed at empowering women in the Agriculture sector.

At the launch, Board chair of Fairriver International Mrs Christine Nutakor said “empowering women should be the first goal of the national policies.”

she encouraged the women to work hard in other to achieve their aims.

On his part, the Oti Regional Agric Director Mr Obrien Nyarko congratulated the leader behind the birth of LINEENBAALWOMEN “it’s not easy involving women in Agriculture especially farming.

According to him with the help of “one district one factory policy and planting for food and jobs, the Regional agric Department will help the women in some of their activities to enable them to grow more food staffs.

Ujan Victoria convener of the LINEENBAAL WOMEN ASSOCIATION revealed that the association has come to stay and they are hoping to do more in farming. “Luck of sponsorship caused us to lose some of our produces last year.”

She is there for appealing to government and other stakeholders to help them especially with a Dam that can store water for some time.
