Spokesperson for the Tema West Municipal Assembly, Vincent Quarshie has disclosed that, five individuals have been arrested in relation to the mob from the Anointed Palace Chapel who attacked some officials of the Tema West Municipal Assembly yesterday.
According to him, a Police report was filed at the Sakumono Police Station immediately they escaped the violence. “A patrol team was quickly assembled from the station with reinforcement from Baatsona. On reaching the premises of the church, the police arrested some young men who were identified as part of the assailants.”
In a phone interview on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ he said, “The police is handling the matter now. So far, I think the police has about five young men in custody.”

As part of improving revenue generation, the Tema West Municipal Assembly embarked on a Revenue Mobilization exercise yesterday.
In executing their mandate, they were beaten mercilessly and had their cars destroyed by a mob from the Anointed Palace Chapel, Tema branch.
