Former Management member of Asante Kotoko, Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, has said that if care is not taking Dr. Kofi Amoah will be the worst FA leader Ghana has ever had.
The Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association has ordered a temporary suspension on Referees Ali Alhassan, Mustapha Abdulai and Mohammed Issahaku from officiating any GFA Official match with immediate effect.
This decision has become necessary due to the bribery allegation leveled against the referees after officiating the NC Special Competition game between Ashantigold SC and Asante Kotoko SC at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday May 12.
This suspension did not go down well with Former Municipal Chief Executive Officer (MCE) for Ejisu-juaben Municipal Assembly (EJMA) in the Ashanti region.
In an exclusive interview with Ohene Brenya-Bampoe on Happy FM’s ‘Anopa Bosuo Sports’ , he said “Hell, Dr. Kofi Amoah, if he doesn’t take care, he will be the worst football administrator Ghana has ever had. Tell him that Yamoah Ponko is talking. what is he talking about, suspending the officials without any arrest? You are in government and government has given you such a power and look at what is doing, and the minister too is there watching you. You are condemning and conniving corruption and bribery in Ghana football,” he said.
