In a moment heavy with emotion and faith, former Minister for Finance, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, paid a solemn visit to the residence of the late Alhaji Dr Murtala Muhammed, offering words of comfort to the grieving family and mourners.

Speaking at the gathering, Dr Adam reflected on the fragility of life and the unchangeable will of God.
“We cannot challenge Allah’s will we can only pray,” he said quietly. “Allah brings us into the world and takes us out. He has done His work.”

His message, rooted deeply in Islamic faith, struck a chord with those present, many of whom are still coming to terms with the sudden passing of Alhaji Dr Murtala Muhammed a respected figure in both political and religious circles.

Dr Adam’s visit was not only one of condolence but also a reminder of the faith that binds the community together in times of grief. He urged the family to remain strong and united, and to continue praying for the soul of the departed.
