Ghanaian sound engineer, Fred Kyei Mensah popularly known as Fredyma, has shared one very important tip that he believes can help Ghanaian artistes win this December.

Discussing what artistes have to do to make money this December, with host, Doctar Cann on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra, he noted that the larger work is on the shoulders of the event organizers, and then the artiste and his management team.

Noting his point, he stated that the individual artistes can organize their own shows and start talking to the corporate bodies about it for sponsorship.

The downside of this for artistes who will now start planning this is that, “Usually, the corporate bodies look at the events that they want to organize the whole year and draw their budgets from that so if you come to them with your event later in the year, they may not have any budget for you”, he explained.

Nevertheless, he urged artistes to start conversations with corporate bodies on getting sponsorship for their events as it may not be too late.

Also, he expunged that most of the corporate bodies have their own events that they organize aside sponsoring other events hence, if an artiste is going to be organizing their own show this Christmas and they did not start planning and sponsorship discussions early, it might be difficult to get sponsorship.

This is another important point that Fredyma shared aside artistes lobbying for shows to feature in this December.

According to Fredyma, Ghanaians and the world has been indoors for a very long time and people want to come out to a lot of excitement this December, hence, artistes and event organizers must do their best to give a memorable December experience in Ghana this coming festive.
